Our education programme integrates evidence-based approaches with hands-on, real-world experiences to support learning, stewardship, resilience and wellbeing.
This will be a day to roll up the sleeves, put on your wellies and get your hands dirty! We take pride in helping everyone to discover tasks they can engage in and ensuring everyone feels at ease in Nature. This day is a day for all. Engage in a diverse array of tasks that change with the seasons and align with the specific requirements of each site. By the day's end, you and your team will see the physical difference you have made to the site and likely be feeling it too!
Through education and the promotion of greater awareness, we look to provide a fresh perspective on nature conservation and restoration in Ireland, inspiring a more meaningful connection to our natural environment.
Learn With Us
From planting seeds and trees to understanding how ecosystems exist and connect, and experience nature immersion. Join one of our facilitator's for a native woodland immersion:
Take a walk in the woods or along hedgerows to collect native tree seeds such as hawthorn, blackthorn, hazel and oak; gather willow and holly cuttings;
Step inside our poly-tunnels and germinate seeds, pot seedlings, prep beds for seeds and seedlings;
Clear away growth and mulch around saplings planted in their permanent habitat;
Build and maintain leaky dams and bridges.
And of course, plant a tree or two during the winter months with us!

Team building days/weekends with compelling guest speakers;
Opportunities for meaningful hands-on work which benefits society and the environment;
Workshops and tours that are moving and immersive, we help bring the participant closer to nature through genuine connection and education;
Activities are tailored to group size, these days are for both old and young, fierce and tame, we ensure that there is an activity to suit everyone;
It's a perfect team building day for coworkers to get to know each other outside of the office, get some fresh air and help to make a difference!
What We Provide
We offer both full and half days, but we encourage a full day to cover all essential bases and get properly stuck in. Let us know your availability and we can coordinate an available day.
Speakers, educators and facilitators;
All necessary tools and gloves for the day;
An organic tea, specialist coffee, sweet treat, and organic lunch (we cater to all the dietary needs).
We couple hands-on work with evidence-backed workshops led by our facilitators, each day is balanced as follows:
To transfer knowledge helping you and your team do the best quality of work;
To understand the impact and importance of each task;
To help you carry through what you have learnt into your life and put gained skills into practice - plant identification, caring for trees, knowing invasive species, and most importantly to feel connected and comfortable in nature.

At the moment we offer ESG Forest Restoration and Tree Planting days or half days and workshops on the two of our sites:
Ennistymon HQ Site, Co Clare;
Avoca Site, Co Wicklow;
Cnocán Bán Site, Co Galway.
