Ardnaculla Summer School 2023

A guided hike at Burren as part of Ardnaculla Summer School 2023.

Hometree’s mission is to be a conduit to the natural world and the people who know how to restore it and are curious to get involved. Ardnaculla Summer School is a three day event filled with workshops, discussions and hands-on experiences for community, landowners and farmers to explore and learn about the benefits of native woodlands and biodiversity restoration. The relevance of nature restoration is more paramount now than ever before.

In 2023 Ardnaculla Summer School took place 7-9th July in Ennistymon with more than twenty different events split between Hometree’s HQ site and off-site events across co. Clare. The weekend was filled with passion, intelligence, intellectual discourse, and sheer hard work (and heart). Our guests brought a wealth of diverse perspectives and heartfelt commitment to the Ardnaculla Summer School audience. All of our events are founded on a vision to foster understanding and connection.

Given the success of this year and last year’s Ardnaculla Summer School, we are thrilled to announce that we will soon be releasing the dates for the 2024 Summer School. While we are confirming dates, enjoy the talks from Ardnaculla Summer School 2023 below.

Hometree would like to extend thank you to he Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage and Clare County Council for the part funding this event.
