Hometree’s purpose is land regeneration, how does this align with your company/organisation?
In 2020 we announced our Sustainability Advisory Board, working with experts in recycling, environmental science, climate change and reforesting partners to help us become a better version of ourselves in how we conduct our business within a planet we care for.
What is inspiring you to work with a regeneration process like Hometree?
We want to do great work in many ways…We care about what we are doing and how we are doing it. We want to lead by example and impact our environment in a positive way! As a business, we are constantly evolving and growing and over the past year, we have introduced a sustainability program that we are constantly expanding on and building upon whereby we can ensure we are doing the best to minimise waste, reduce and recycle!
Some of the trees you are planting you will not see mature, together we are working towards more abundant and biodiverse future, in three or four sentences please describe what you would like to invite into the future?
We hope to be a part of the positive change needed globally to achieve a cleaner, greener planet. We would love to see a shift in the way people treat the planet and for it to be a safe place with respect for the earth - for all the future generations.
Other than Hometree can you celebrate other ways you or your organisation supports a healthier environment?
Doing our bit for packaging: Who said receiving beauty or press products has to be so wasteful. The Publicity Loft make a concerted effort not use any unnecessary packaging with press drop distribution where possible and use recycled materials for packaging going forward. Recycling at home: The Publicity Loft are happy to send a recycling bags to our recipients to allow them to recycle your packages from us without taking over the recycling bin. Collection Option: With a city centre location we are happy to provide a ‘call in and collect’ service offering Press/bloggers/Influencers based in Dublin the opportunity to call in at a time when suits to collect press drops and bring home in a recycled Tote bag. Given current Covid restrictions, this can only be done by appointment at present.
